Does anyone here use MS Access?
I have never liked access at all. I just can not get it to do what I want.
No doubt its due to my lack of skill.
But compared to any other DB, Access just seems rather "simple" and unprofessional. |

Access is not meant to be a server backend database, but you can use it as a desktop database just fine.

Yep.. no one in their right mind would use access as a back end for any serious application
I have a hard time using it to be honest -its funny how the simple programs are often the hardest to use! |

Access can get pretty in depth once you get past the GUI. Don't write it off completely.
It's nice to use as a small scale system, eg for a small office application where you dont need big license fees for Oracle or similar. |
