ActiveX component can't create object: 'CDONTS.NewMail'

Hi,

I'm trying to send an email from ASP page and I get the following error:

ActiveX component can't create object: 'CDONTS.NewMail'

Here is the line that gives the error:

[administrator]

Hi Tim,

Instead of using:

Set objMail = CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")

use the following:

Set objMail = Server.CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail")


All ActiveX components instances should be created with Server.CreateObject, not with CreateObject only.
