How'd you learn ASP?
I'd like to learn it because I'm pretty much done with learning MySQL and PHP so I need something new to work on. ASP jobs seem more available here too so I'd really like to learn it.

Whats the fastest and most efficient way to learn or should I just take the class at my local community college?

For me, I find it easier to learn a new language in a class environment. It's also nice to have someone with answers if you have a question, instead of having to look around online for it.

I've always just been a one on one type of person or a do-it-yourself. I did take a few classes for design etc but i learned most of it on my own over the years.

Like now I found a great site for tutorials etc. For basic know how info.

tizag.com/aspTutorial

Im still learning.
I use forums like this and also trying to get an online course sorted out.
I think forums and books are the best though as so many people are kind enough to try and help you get the jist of things.
It takes time but one day im hoping to know what im doing 100% hehe

Thanks for the link by the way.

I agree with this. I am still working on learning, but so far that tutorial has been very useful.

As nike might say, just do it. Examples, books, videos, whatever you can get your hands on. Just practice and learn. I suggest taking steps where you start by forming basic codes and programs that actually work and function.

Do not get too caught up in snippets, because you can not necessarily execute them and feel the accomplishment of completing it. So start with small and basic programs and build from there.
